Have Fun in Cabo San Lucas at Wild Canyon Adventures

Camel Quest

Camel Quest is a great family-friendly activity at Wild Canyon. Ride a camel through El Tule Canyon. Each guest gets paired with their very own camel. The ride takes you through the desert to a beautiful oasis that is home to lush vegetation, and you will never lose site of the Sea of Cortez. The Camel ride is complete with games, contests and an education in “Camels 101”. Riders must be at least 4 years of age and weight under 260 lbs.

Off-Road Runners

Wild Canyon’s Off-Road Runners are a fun option for those that like to drive. This ATV tour gives you the opportunity to drive a Can am Outlander 400 BRP vehicle, which comfortably seats two passengers. Drivers must have a valid driver’s license, and riders must be at least 10 years of age. After being outfitted with protective gear and taking a ride through the test course, riders are taken through five different scenic areas: Ocean View, Arroyo, Beach, Canyon and Mountain.

Tortuga Zip Lines

Zip lining is a favorite activity for many that come to Cabo San Lucas, but many visitors and locals agree that Wild Canyon is the most fun. After going through “zip line school”, tour groups and two guides will go through an 8-line tour that features 2,673 feet of zip lines. The tour is 3.5 hours total. Zip liners must be 8 years of age or older and cannot exceed 300 lbs.  Experience the baja dessert in a totally new way.

Bungee Bombers

Bungee bombers is not for the timid. This is truly an experience for those looking for something wild. Take a ride to our glass floored gondola that is suspended over 300 feet in the air. Jumpers are connected to a bungee cord that is attached to their feet or waist. On the count of five, you jump up and out of the gondola for an exhilarating experience. Must be at least 10 years old, and weigh between 89 and 240 lbs to jump.

Sling Swingers

The final attraction for thrill-seekers at Wild Canyon is the Sling Swingers activity. Visitors can swing alone or with a companion. After heading to the glass-bottom gondola, guests are harnessed and hooked up to the secure, safety equipment. They are then connected to a bar and released from 300 feet in the air and swing in a pendulum motion with a 240 foot radius. Participants must be at least 10 years old and the combined weight of those swinging cannot exceed 450 lbs.

Ring in the New Year 2013 at the Biggest Celebration in Cabo San Lucas

Celebrate the coming of the New Year in Cabo San Lucas at the Baja Brewing Company. The restaurant, located at Cabo Villas Beach Resort and Spa is hosting “Happy New Beer 2013” from 7 p.m. to midnight, and it is sure to be a night to remember.

The event includes a 5-course dinner served at 7 p.m., an open National bar until midnight, live music at 9 p.m. and the largest fireworks show in Cabo San Lucas.  There will also be a champagne toast to 2013 at midnight.

The evening begins with the 5-course dinner. The meal features a variety of dishes including a pear, almond, goat cheese, spinach and arugula salad and BBC Burro Brown Ale Braised Ribs with roasted country potatoes and green beans.

Following dinner at 9 p.m., there is live music by Kimbara, an International Fusion group. The finale of the event is the amazing fireworks show. The Baja Brewing Company, which is located on the rooftop of Cabo Villas Beach Resort, is the perfect place to watch the fireworks show, which is the biggest fireworks show in Cabo San Lucas on New Year’s Eve.

The total cost for the event is $100 including tax and tip.
